Here at The Chef and his Wife we think differently about food. We think Chattanoogan's should be able to get a healthy, home-made meal for less than 10 dollars. We think those meals should be made from fresh, unprocessed ingredients with a focus on healthy, properly portioned entrée sizes. We also think this awesome food should be delivered right to your front door.

Our menu items are perfectly portioned to feed two, they are sodium controlled and each serving is under approximately 450 calories. Whether you're too busy to cook, need an extra hand in the kitchen or just want to heat-and-eat your lunches during the work week, The Chef and his Wife has the flavor you've been craving. Check out this week's menu

Weddings, corporate events, picnics and sports parties — we can do it all. Give a call to the kitchen at 423-260-3068 or send us a message by clicking here so we can discuss your event. We've done parties of five, to banquets with over 450 people — we can even handle that company holiday party of 3,000. We'll cook the food, deliver it piping hot and provide all kitchen utensils, drinks and flatware - we'll even help clean up!

The Chef

Tim Mulderink, CEC

Chef Tim Mulderink has worked 35+ years in the food industry as chef, owner and manager. He is a Certified Executive Chef through the American Culinary Association, a life time member of the American Academy of Chefs and has competed and won several times in national culinary competitions.

Prior to opening The Chef and his Wife he worked three years as executive chef for the newly opened Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga. He managed a staff of 55, serving over 3000 people daily. 

The Wife

Louise Mulderink

The queen of the kitchen.
The finder of foods.
The Wife.

By day she's a senior paralegal at CBL, by night she's a hard-working, ingredient mixing machine that keeps the menu items fresh and exciting.

With a life-time of knowledge in the kitchen and years cooking hearty meals for our family, Louise excels at finding our interesting recipes that will blow your taste-buds away!

The Ted

Ted Flint

Originally from Florida, Chef Ted has over 30 years in the food industry. His specialty is anything to do with grilling and smoking meats. He truly is a grill-master and practices a “do it right the first time” discipline in the kitchen.

In his career he worked more than 11 years as Chef for Sodexho at Blue Cross Blue Shield in Chattanooga.


Food is my passion. I have always displayed a pioneering spirit with old-fashioned values and new-age creativity. I believe the ingredients I use to create my meals are animated, all eager to complete their life purpose to make us happy and satisfy our nourishment.
